Back in 2021, Joe sat down with Fraser Jack on the XY Podcast. The XY Podcast is driven by XY Advisers, a global community of Financial Advisers sharing and learning with one another to drive a positive evolution of Financial Advice. 

On this podcast, Joe goes into his personal and professional background and how he came to formulate his unique approach to Financial Advice. Joe learns from the major life events that have happened, like the passing of his late father Magdy Stephan, and uses them to inform the way he conducts himself and Stephan Independent Advisory.

An example of how Joe adapts and evolves to the ever-changing landscape of life stems from the global pandemic. During this time, Stephan Independent Advisory (like the rest of the world) had to mix up how they operated as a business by embracing online client meetings and  working from home. 

But this also led to Joe having much more free time on his hands. Instead of hanging his head low, Joe saw this situation as an opportunity to explore his creative self. He spend time writing and recording music, something that he hadn’t given much time to since he was a kid. He also poured himself into It’s Never About Money where he had conversations with successful business owners trying to uncover and explore the connection between meaning and money.
